This map was the culmination of a 3-month design research project in which a variety of stakeholder groups at the University of Toronto were engaged through interviews and workshops. The map explores the University of Toronto as a student health system. It is based on a series of stakeholder interviews, a participatory workshop, and modified structured dialogic design. The map begins by expressing campus health as it was co-defined through a series of participatory processes. It explores the health barriers and opportunities of the campus based on its physical layout and ideological embodiment. The map demonstrates the structural challenges of the University through a system influence map and expresses a series of interventions necessary to change the course of campus health. It lays the groundwork for the healthy campus strategy at the University of Toronto.
